Code Vein 2: Blood Code Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide
In Code Vein II, Blood Codes (the game's "Class" system) are significantly more dynamic than in the first title. While some are still gifted by allies, many are now tied to the new "Timeline Decision" missions, where your choices in the past directly determine which version of a Blood Code you receive.
There are 42 Blood Codes in total, including those tied to branching narrative paths. In Code Vein 2, Blood Codes now feature Traits. Unlike Gifts, which can be inherited, Traits are locked to the Blood Code.
- The Superbia: Lou code has a trait that prevents you from becoming "Overburdened" even when using heavy gear, making it the "meta" choice for heavy-hitting Bayonet builds.
- To "Master" a code and move its Gifts to another class, you now need to perform Drain Attacks while the code is equipped rather than just gaining experience.
